Daily Market Review:

Amid an improved global market sentiment, bears took a breather after causing a havoc in yesterday’s session.

Market optimists heaved a sigh of relief as frontline indices posted decent gains, with the Nifty and the Sensex rising 0.6% and 0.7%, respectively.

V-Mart Retail was in huge demand in today’s session. The stock ran up as much as 16% during the day, before a weak market sentiment brought the stock down. Eventually, it closed 5.6% higher, with volumes coming in more than 7x the 50-day average volume.

Daily Big Picture – Trade War Concerns Spark Market Sell-Off

Frontline indices face distribution; broader market remains weak.

Daily Market Review:

Bears cashed in on a global market rout to send India’s frontline indices lower today. The Nifty and the Sensex dropped 0.8% and 0.7%, respectively, on volumes greater than the previous session.

The global market sentiment took a hit after trade tensions between the U.S. and China escalated.
